Privacy Policy

MemoRx exists to keep your family's medication information organized and safe. This page explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
- Account details such as your name, email address, and password.
- Profile and health information you enter for yourself, family members, or pets — medications, dosages, schedules, allergies, conditions, providers, and emergency notes.
- Information you choose to import from another service (for example, a medication list from MyChart).
- Messages, feedback, and screenshots you send us.
Information we collect automatically
We collect basic technical and usage information needed to run the Service — device and browser type, app version, log data, and how features are used — so we can keep MemoRx reliable and improve it.
How we use your information
- To provide the Service: storing your lists, sending reminders, and showing your emergency card.
- To support you when you contact us and to respond to feedback.
- To keep MemoRx secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To improve features and understand which parts of the app are useful.
- To send you service messages, and marketing messages only if you opt in.
We do not sell your personal or health information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who can see your information
You control who sees each profile. People you invite can view or help manage the profiles you grant them access to, and you can change or remove that access at any time. If you turn on emergency access, the information you select can be shown on the lock screen to anyone holding the device.
We share information with service providers who help us operate MemoRx (such as cloud hosting, email delivery, and error monitoring), under contracts that limit their use of it. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect people's safety, and in connection with a merger or acquisition, in which case we'll notify you.
Medication reference data
When you look up a medication, we may query public reference sources (such as the U.S. National Library of Medicine and openFDA) to return names, images, ingredients, and warnings. These lookups are used to fill in drug details, not to identify you to those sources.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete a profile or your account, we remove the associated information from our live systems and from backups on our normal backup cycle, except where we must keep records to meet a legal obligation.
Your choices and rights
- Access, correct, or export the information in your account.
- Delete individual profiles or your entire account at any time.
- Turn notifications and emergency access on or off.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or national privacy law. Email us and we'll honor them.
Children
MemoRx is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from or about children, and profiles should not be created for minors. If you believe a child's information was submitted to us, contact us and we'll remove it.
Security
We encrypt information in transit and at rest, limit internal access to what's needed, and monitor for unusual activity. See our HIPAA & Security page for details, including how we handle a security incident.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or an in-app notice before they take effect.
